Adult Rule Modification

Games are played in Lebanon at the GC Church

7 v 7
Unlimited Substitutions and on the fly
Sideline out restart is kick not a thrown-in
Keeper can punt
Off-sides will be called but please be aware there is only 1 referee and their call is final
No Slide Tackling
If a team is more than 4 goals up they will remove 1 player for each goal above the 4-goal difference
Every foul is indirect
30 min half - 5 min half

FAQ

How much is the registration fee and what does it provide?

Registration for adult soccer is $50

The adult soccer registration fee includes:
Soccer jersey ($5 discount if you use a previous WUSC jersey)
6 Games per season

Can I play as an individual or do I need a full team?

We need both, come out as an individual or a friend or 2, we will get you all on the same team. If you have a full team that works to, just make sure you have at least 1 or 2 of the opposite gender, we are a co-ed team league.

What am I responsible for providing?

You will need to provide the following items:
Soccer cleats (no toe cleat – such as what is found on baseball and football cleats)
Shin guards
Black soccer shorts
Black soccer socks
Size 5 soccer ball to practice

Are there age levels?

No we do not restrict on age but we highly recommend the players being 18+

When do you play games? Where do you play games? Where do we practice?

Saturday & Sunday evening / afternoons

How many players are on a team?

We like to go for 11 or 12 players.
We typically play 7v7 on a youth 9v9 field
We manage the games with a single referee

Are the teams co-ed?

Most of our teams are co-ed and we try to encourage that type of play

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

No refunds will be granted to those who break the rules or the policies of Wilson United Soccer Club.
Refunds are usually processed within a few weeks after the season begins.

What happens if it rains on a practice or game day?

We don’t let a little rain keep us from playing soccer. We will only cancel games in the event of a thunderstorm or if there is standing water on the fields. We also do not cancel games due to cold weather. If it’s cold outside, players are encouraged to wear sweatpants, a sweatshirt or jacket (MUST be worn under their soccer jersey), and even a hat and gloves.

The Field Commissioner Team will make the decision to cancel games due to weather. If the decision is made to cancel games, we will post a notice on the front page of our website and facebook. So that we can provide as much notice as possible to all of our coaches, referees, players, and their families, every attempt is made to have the decision made and the notices out by 7:00 am on practice and game mornings.

If the weather is questionable and you don’t see a notice on the web site, assume that all practices and games will be played as scheduled.
