To support players moving on to the next level, we introduced our Academy program which is the beginning of funneling those elite select players that will join the highest level of development at WUSC, the final stage of our program.
Academy players will be hand selected from our Select teams because they have demonstrated a particular ability or potential for the game. They are then designated as the top players from the Club and given specific attention to allow them to reach their fullest potential. This elite program is for players with potential who are aged from 14 to 18 years of age.
Each Academy player will get an extra training session in the week to test them and push them to achieve more. This stage of the program combines practical soccer training that targets the techniques, tactics, and conditioning of a professional player and classroom training.
